John Gough and Tom Kimmance (Piano Duet)
John Gough and Tom Kimmance

John Gough needs little introduction to NFMC audiences. He has performed as soloist, accompanist (and after-dinner speaker). He enjoys a busy performing career combining it with teaching at the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester University and Chethams School of Music. Concerts have taken him to Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Purcell Room and the Bridgewater Hall and he has also given many broadcasts on BBC Radios 2 and 3 and on Classic FM.

Tom Kimmance was born in Merseyside and began playing the piano at the relatively late age of 13. He is a graduate of Liverpool University, gaining the highest mark recorded for his final recital. He also holds a Masters degree with First Class Honours and is now a tutor in piano at the university. He has given many recitals and concerto performances in the North West and is also an active composer. He gave the premiere performance of his Concerto Romantique in 2010.
