Having begun piano lessons at the age of 9, by the age of 16 Erdem was a prizewinner in the International Rachmaninov Competition for Young Pianists and two years later won the piano section of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition 2008. Erdem has already performed in many prestigious venues including the Wigmore Hall where he gave a recital that was broadcast on Radio 3. We look forward to hearing this outstanding young musician. |
