We are delighted to welcome again the Taiwan pianist, Chiao-Ying Chang, described by the press as ‘a true artist of elegance, thoughtfulness, passion and immense power’. Chiao-Ying has distinguished herself as one of the leading pianists of her generation. Following her success at the 2003 Leeds International Piano Competition where she won 5th prize, she immediately went on to win the Taiwan International Piano Competition. Since then she has given recitals at major festivals and venues throughout the UK and overseas, as well as appearing with major orchestras. We look forward to hearing this outstanding young musician. |
